Ripping off Hellboy? No, not at all. Writing something in the same vein? Yes, but with its own style.
What you’re saying is akin to saying that the JLA ripped off the Avengers. No, the basic concepts are the same, but the books turned out differently. Oh, wait… Batman ripped of Zorro!!!
