Open Call for Atomic Robo Pin-up Art
Artists of all ilk… hobbyist, professional and anyone in between…
We’re looking for new Atomic Robo-themed fan pin-up art for issues of the fifth volume of Atomic Robo’s adventures. So crack out your pencils, pens, crayons, paints, clay, mice or tablets and whip up some art depicting Atomic Robo or the characters from his universe in situations established or imagined. (Please do not include characters, props, locations or situations from other properties.)
When you’re done, send a jpeg to letters@red5comics.com. We’ll post some of the most interesting here… and possibly even include yours in an upcoming print issue of Atomic Robo.
Of course, by sending your art, you are granting Red 5 Comics all copyright and trademark rights to the art, including the ability print and reproduce the work.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Anyone know when is the deadline for submission and whether there is a limit number? What is the resolution guideline?
August 26th, 2010 at 9:19 am
While we’d love something in the next week for consideration in the opening issue, the volume will be going on for a number of months… so no hard, hard deadline yet.
Feel free to send in something web-resolution initially. We’ll ask for a print-resolution (300 dpi) file if we decide to include it in an issue.

Is coloured prefered?

Colored may be preferred, but it really depends on the nature of the piece. Not a requirement.

Does the pin up have to be done in the same art style or can it be a little different?
August 30th, 2010 at 10:46 am
Different is great!

Can we still use our artwork for personal promotion after we submit them?
Will there be a possiblity of working as a contract artist in the future for Red5 if we proven to have certain level of artistic skill?
