Welcome to Black Star City in BUTCHER QUEEN

The newest series from The Dead Palace creators Jim Ousley and Ben Sawyer hits comic stores this Fall from Red 5 Comics

The new sci-fi action comic makes its debut at San Diego Comic-Con this month in an exclusive preview, before hitting comic book stands in September.

With script and art from The Dead Palace creators Jim Ousley and Ben Sawyer, Butcher Queen will fill the void for fans of head-spinning sci-fi action like Blade Runner or Aliens. Blending horror, character, and mood into a thrilling package, Butcher Queen will draw readers in to its strange new world. Issue one will launch with a low print run variant cover by industry legend Jim Mahfood.

Butcher Queen follows the adventures of fugitive cop-turned-mercenary Syd Kiowa. In Black Star City, alien off-worlders are being systematically attacked and removed from society by a clandestine paramilitary group called the Overseers worried about the influx of colonists shifting society away from the control of human beings. The only survivor of their attacks enlists Syd to stop the Overseers horrifying campaign before it becomes fully realized.
